> "Being in a relationship for over three months without physical intimacy is considered slow."
It IS slow (it would be slow for most women as well), but that's not the main problem: if a couple has not reached physical intimacy within the first month, usually it means there are issues underneath, and/or one is not really into (or attracted to) the other.
That's why most men lose interest if sex doesn't happen soon: it's a big red flag the relationship isn't going well at all - or it's going nowhere.
When the relationship is splendid and I know she's really into me, I don't mind waiting. But when she's lukewarm or detached, why bother...?
