Biology is a fact. Identity is an opinion.

Identity is inner and subjective, a bit like faith: you can be internally sure about it, and yet you cannot measure it, cannot prove it, cannot test it in a lab (all things you can do to something objective).

I might respect your (subjective) opinion, even when I disagree, but that doesn't turn it into a fact.

A main problem with "wokes" is mistaking opinions and feelings for facts: “I feel this way, therefore it’s true”.
