Chris, the Dr. clearly stated "I cannot diagnose you" and she said "it seems like you may have some traits of...", not "you have BPD". It was suggestions, not diagnosis.

Therefore I think she was perfectly within reasonable professional boundaries.

Rather, I find it curious that your reaction to her reply was so critical and harsh. If I were in your shoes, I would ask myself why would I feel so crossed. :-)
