I don't know about the author, but most women feel attraction based on looks first (just as most men do).

It's like saying "Tofu is better than pizza!". Well, maybe it is for YOU, but it isn't for the vast majority.

That's what they SAY.

But what they actually DO, is that a kind man without the right looks / status / money (it varies for each individual) has no chance whatsoever. Women appreciate kindness, sure; but it's not their main criteria.

Telling otherwise is just spreading fairy-tales...
