If you mean "treat well" as in "With kindness and respect" (as everybody should do with anybody), I agree.
But if you mean "As someone special", before the girl has openly shown interest in becoming her "special one"... it sounds like wanting something for free.
"Yeah, baby, treat me like a princess, and maybe... just maybe... eventually... I could become yours… perhaps." :-/
Sorry, it doesn't work that way. Men are used to being rejected or being ignored by flaky girls. Therefore they are quite keen on NOT wasting their time and energy towards someone not worth the effort.
Besides, women gave been vocally demanding equality for over a century. Thus "equality" should also be valid in dating.
