This smells of privilege: "I got it, so you could too". Yeah, but we aren't all the same, nor we have the same chances or skills.
What if I said "I believe that if you want a job, you'll have it" to someone who cannot find one? After all, most people have jobs, so why shouldn't you...?!?
Would it feel empowering... or rather un-empathic and condescending?
