Well, it's individual experience: my experience shown that, yours might be different. But keep in mind women might say one thing and do another: until you're dating one, you don't know how she really behaves.
Regarding equal pay, of course it's just fair. And, as a matter of fact, it has been written in law for decades (in the West).

Yeah. In theory.
In practice, I see lots of women - again, many feminists included - wanting equal rights AND old stereotypes (e.g. being paid for, being protected) according to whatever suit them most. Ever heard the saying "There are no feminists on a sinking ship"?
