I hardly see the point of your analogy, but of course the discourse is valid in both cases. I wrote "As any ideology...", so ANY ideology can be BOTH beneficial and abusive, and will have "dark sides". I thought this was crystal clear.

Regarding the Depp-Heard trial, AFAIK there weren't "some" feminists supporting Heard, but LOTS of them. Even some progressive newspapers (e.g. "The New York Times", "The Washington Post", IIRC) lamented the final verdict.

Anyway, questioning feminism seems to touch your nerve, so I'll just stop. :-)

I got my suspicion confirmed anyway: your attitude feels like "Feminism is always right and must not be questioned; if one does, I'll throw a tantrum".
