I might be cynical, but I like to see things as they are - not as I'd want them to be. My statement is based on multiple research and evidence: according to that, in the course of their lifetime, most people (i.e. >50%) cheat sooner or later.

If you just Google "how many people cheat", you'll find many studies that support my thesis. The first page reports at least 71% of men and 82% of women admitting cheating: https://techreport.com/statistics/lifestyle/cheating-statistics/

Any research reports different numbers, but most go over the 50% threshold.

And what about your "experience"? Is it based on how many people? And do you think all of them would be candid with you about their eventual affairs?

Of course if you ask them you'll get a negative answer: people lie because they're afraid of judgment - and women lie even more.

In the West, we read about cheating everywhere; even here on Medium lots of articles talk about that; about half of marriages end, and a good chunk of them end because of infidelity... Now, am I a cynic, or are you seeing just what you want to see?
