I quite agree.
I'm very skeptical about women who center their life on being a mom. Good for them, of course, but to me it smells like maybe they haven't developed a strong identity as human beings first (i.e. "I exist because of my children": creepy).

Aside from what you said, it can be a sign her life doesn't revolve around the kids. She's her own person, looking for a true partner to enjoy life together, AND of course her kids will be a big PART of it - but not ALL of it.
OTOH, if she says "I'm a mom and my kids will always come first", maybe this means she is looking for a provider more than a partner.
