I'm sorry for your negative experience. I agree some men might judge a woman's advance or take it as just sexual. And it's of course those men's fault.

OTOH, not all men are like that. I heard many men talking about when a woman approached them, and they were mostly grateful and delighted (even when not interested in her).

So maybe you could screen the men you approach a little bit better? :-)

E.g. if you approach a very handsome and sexy man, he's most likely to be interested only in sex, or brush you away.

Personally, every time I've been approached by a woman I've always been kind, appreciative and sometimes enthusiast. I cannot be the only one. :-D
