Interesting article, thanks.

I think what you say it's mostly true for younger people, I mean the ones raised in the 70' and beyond. That's when modern feminism went from "equality" (it has never really been about it) to "women supremacy", pushing ideas like "Women are good, men are bad", "Women are emotionally superior", "You have to believe women" (see the #MeToo), etc.

Modern feminism rejects female responsibility: "It's always men's fault", or "the Patriarchy's", and so on. People raised within this mindset, when things in a relationship go wrong, are used to blame the man and consider the woman a victim (even many men think this way too). Of course this applies to cheating as well:

- Man cheating: "What a selfish dick!"

- Woman cheating: "Oh poor girl, sure you have plenty of motives to have done that!"

OTOH, older people are usually less prone to these double standards, and consider cheating wrong whoever committed it.
