It seems to me you fell for the fallacy: “It’s happened to ME, hence it WILL happen to ALL of you”.

You know, people (men included) are not machines, always working in the same way. That’s what makes relationships so complex: there’s no exact recipes to follow. In any relationship there’s a kaleidoscope of possibilities.

Maybe he will leave you, maybe YOU will leave him, maybe who knows…
