Yours seems the usual one-sided feminist rant. If she's doing that, it's likely he's working all day every day, so... what's the point? Both are family duties.

What I was talking about it's the caring about what makes the partner feel cherished and happy. What if a woman had to jump through hoops for being listened to or to get a hug... and not even sure to receive them? Would you be ok with that?

Dr. Psych Mom has already written that doing those might help, but it's usually not enough to "put her in the mood" - as many men have commented, they do all of the above and still... no sex.
