Yours is a very odd country :-) (I'm Italian)

On one hand Americans are free to do questionable things (like buying military-grade weaponry), on the other there's lots of prudish and controlling instances: an exposed nipple provokes an outrage, sexual education in schools is usually forbidden, not to mention the recent de-evolution about abortion.

From Europe, honestly we found it baffling. ;-)
