Nice job in portraying so many different perspectives. Although you have your "bias" (dislike) towards this trend, your effort to represent a plurality of voices is commendable.

Personally, this read confirms what I have known for a long time: there's no "One size fits all" in life. Everybody has to understand what works for him/ her and what doesn't, and build a life accordingly.

I don't believe in fixed rules (and I distrust those who insist on them (*) ); we're all different.

(*) This includes the many feminists who insist on dictating their rules to all women (and therefore assume kind of a "fascist" attitude): "All women must be free, but only in the way our feminism dictates".
