Nope.
If you really knew human history, of course you would be horrified by many things (that happened to most people, not just women), but you would also notice many positive events and, above all, how on average humankind has evolved through time. E.g.: there’s less and less poverty; there are less wars, and less dictatorships; we can fight most illnesses; and of course women’s condition has vastly improved.
What feminists and activists do, instead, is focusing on just a tiny slice of history (the one supporting their thesis or paranoia), and ignoring the remaining 99%. Of course, this way they can keep blaming and whining and asking for more.
