The advice above is meant to build attraction at first stages, to create emotional tension / excitation. It's not meant for long-term sexual compatibility.

It's the same for this kind of advice given to women: "Don't have sex too soon, to avoid being seen as a slut / too easy". Of course this doesn't apply when you're married!

Apart from this, I fully agree with this article. Some women like being strongly "taken" and/or dominated, but most do not.
