OMG! Really?!? The whole feminist movement mostly revolves around blaming men and the so-called "patriarchy"! If you didn't notice those, I assume you lived under a rock ;-)
I could fill volumes with those, but I think some quotes from historical feminists (*) will suffice:
- "Emasculating and degrading men was the right thing to do, but we should have left a little bit of dignity in men so that they were still useful to us."
(Gloria Steinem, Ms. Magazine founder)
- "I feel that ‘man-hating’ is an honorable and viable political act, that the oppressed have a right to class-hatred against the class that is oppressing them."
(Robin Morgan, Ms. Magazine Editor)
- "I want to see a man beaten to a bloody pulp with a high-heel shoved in his mouth, like an apple in the mouth of a pig."
(Andrea Dworkin)
- "The more famous and powerful I get the more power I have to hurt men."
(Sharon Stone)
- "The proportion of men must be reduced to and maintained at approximately 10% of the human race."
(Sally Miller Gearhart, in "The Future - If There Is One - Is Female")
- "A good part − and definitely the most fun part − of being a feminist is about frightening men."
(Julie Burchill)
(*) Most of them are still studied today.
