Alas, many women keep this mindset: "The man has the duty to wine and dine ME, but I have no duty whatsoever towards HIM" (how sexist, BTW) and, as long as they keep doing this, it will never be solved.

Just to be clear: of course a woman is not obliged to give sex in exchange for a dinner... but this power imbalance (the man has duties, the woman has not) cannot create a balanced and healthy situation. If the man is obliged to "invest", he will expect something in return.

You can solve this issue only when both parties are on an equal foot.
