I'd say it's rather the contrary: it's mostly the women who look for a "Prince Charming" or a "Top man" (rich, powerful, successful), an "Alpha", etc.

- Women have an evolutionary drive to choose the best partner possible.

- OTOH, for many men when she is pretty, it could be enough.
