Yes: subject to these kind of pressures, most men feel like it's a "Damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation.
Whatever they try to do, it's never enough or there's someone (society, the media, feminists) telling them they are at fault and they "should do better".
Most men receive no empathy whatsoever, so thank you for being one among the few voices who speak up for this half part of mankind. :-)
