I would just add that it's not "some women give off mixed signals": IMHO it's most of them. I'm sure YOU are direct and straightforward, but those qualities aren't common among women. We men would not be so confused otherwise. :-)

Even Sigmund Freud said: "The great question that has never been answered, and which I have not yet been able to answer, despite my thirty years of research into the feminine soul, is 'What does a woman want?'" - go figure! ;-D
