I didn't need to read this (I have already realized all that), but I think this should be mandatory reading in any teenager class: the world would be spared so much useless sorrow.

It's not the "emotionally unavailable" man they seek. It's the successful, self-assured, strong and take-no-bullshit man (let's call it Alpha?). Too bad those women cannot tell the latter from the former... and then they will choose the former and endlessly complain about him: "Why oh why my man doesn't understands me?!?". Oh the irony. ;-P
