It's funny that other comments (mostly female, of course) are eager to oppose what you wrote. Maybe they are in denial, or they dream about an ideal life where nobody is judged by their looks (yeah, dream on...).

The simple truth is, humans are visual creatures and looks are important for most of them - regardless of gender. We even like babies more when they're beautiful, go figure!
