Thanks for your honest take.
Yeah, sometimes women do foolish things (they're human after all) - but don't tell (most) feminists, because they are all perfect according to them! ;-D
Seriously, I think one of the reasons for those unrealistic checklists is modern feminism and its idealization of women: "Women can have it all", "Women can do anything", "Every woman is beautiful", and so on.
Add that and the ever-present Disney fairy-tales about princesses and their "Happily ever after", and you have a recipe for remaining single for a looong time. Talking about singleness and checklists, read this gem on Medium (and prepare to roll your eyes ;-): "Stay single until you meet a guy who does these 70 things"
