I find this difficult to believe.
I actually think most people have some attachment issues, and just a minority have secure attachment – and, therefore, happy and balanced relationships.
Maybe that’s because I’m a counselor / coach, thus I gravitate around troublesome people and couples. Or maybe I have confirmation bias due to my own issues.
But if the quoted statement was true, then we could hardly explain why about half of marriages fail (in the West , at least), and so many people cheat on their partner (again, a majority).
