This seems to me one of the (rare) instances where Dr. Rodman Whiten is biased and one-sided; and a certain feminist mindset ("Women are never wrong and men should always be loving no-matter-what") is getting the best of her. Being her a therapist, I think she should always be able to empathize with and consider BOTH partner in a more balanced manner.

Of course this guy is quite immature, selfish and having issues - no doubt about that. OTOH, I believe he still deserve some empathy and understanding.

Honestly, they both sound like two kids who are somehow broken and immature; and maybe that's one reasons they are together. That doesn't mean one is right and the other wrong.
