I agree.

I often see outrage (often over-exaggerated) about other addictions, like sex, porn or video-games, yet alcohol is seldom mentioned. Perhaps because drinking looks "normal".

Yet also sex, porn and video-games are normal, per se; it's the frequency, the loss of control and he eventual fall of one's life the problem- not the consumption in itself.

Here in Italy, there was a politician who obsessed about marijuana users, all the while he was a chain smoker. Well, I'd say he was more addicted (to his cigarettes) than the average pot user.
