Very useful information.
We're used to think (from media, romance, porn, and even "progressives" who insists sex should only happen within an enthusiastic "Yes!"), that sex arousal should happen spontaneously, both for men and women.
What the Dr. says here can almost be considered "revolutionary": who would have said that media, romance, porn and "progressives" could be wrong? And that women can be so different from men? ;-)
I'd say it's high time we openly admit the following:
- Monogamy will decrease sexual desire (especially in women).
- Men and women can be deeply different.
- Good sex may happen even when someone is not "in the mood", or feeling "enthusiastic" about it, if the two partners are willing to take care of each other.
