I agree with (and applaud to) the whole of your article, save for this part. IMNSHO, nowadays the so-called "patriarchy" gives more benefits to women than men. Feminism is everywhere: in the media, in government and in the laws.

When women suffer, there's an uproar. When men suffer, people usually ignore it or just shrugs.

Men suffering is widespread, but is mostly ignored or silenced, so women suffering seems way greater - but it isn't. If one considers the many ways men suffering is ignored, it's clear that the "patriarchy" doesn't care much about men.
