Well, honestly it's been going on for the last 50 years at least. It has began with the vocal emergence of second wave feminism in the '70, coupled with female exaltation and male bashing.

Most people nowadays are used to it, because they've been hearing it all their lives. Hence they do not even question it: for them, "Women are good, men are bad" is just the standard narrative.
