> "When you meet the right person, it will be easy."
Yeah, if only. This sounds like a fairy-tale.
Relationships are never that easy; human beings are way too complex and quirky.
> "No more fighting to make it happen"
This is another fairy-tale idea. Couples that do not fight are just hiding things inside; a recipe for disaster, later.
Good couples fight, but they find a way to resolve their issues in a constructive way.
> "It’s about just being yourself and letting that be enough."
Yeah, but... what if "yourself" is a bunch of neurosis? Or severely traumatized? Then the partner will not be able to magically solve your issues.
I think all these happy cases happen between reasonably mature and healthy people. If someone is severely troubled, instead, no "right one" will magically fix him/her.
The idea "I'm a mess, but with the right one everything will be just fine" is just another romantic delusion.
