According to the author, and most of the female commenters (I assume), when a women refuses to compromise she's a strong and smart woman who knows her value.

Ok. Now I ask you: what if it's the man who refuses to compromise (about his love life)? Would you consider him in the same way?

Or... would you call him selfish, demanding, arrogant or shallow...?

Besides, if one wants something and s/he cannot get it, it means it was beyond their reach or out of their league.
