But it's said from a MALE perspective! Men are way less selective than women, and it's still true for gay men.

It's the females that are way selective, and this is proven by their evaluating most men as "not attractive". This is the 80%-20% disparity shown by studies (from OKCupid et al.), where men find 80% of women desirable, but women consider attractive only 20% of men.

A gay men is not representative of the female gaze.
