But when those wives find it, they will be all surprised and enraged and horrified, and "How dare you!" (the Net, and Medium, are full of stories about those wives and their righteous indignation after he had an affair). So, in their eyes, they have the right to do as they please, AND also the right to fidelity. How convenient!

At the same time, the very same women will mostly nod approvingly when a woman cheats on her husband after she felt ignored or neglected for long: “Well, she had her reasons!”.
